Livton Complex: Supports the natural detoxification processes of the gastrointestinal system

Details:

  • St. Mary's Thistle and Globe Artichoke are traditionally used in Western herbal medicine:

    • To support the natural detoxification processes of the gastrointestinal system

    • As a cholagogue to promote bile production and secretion

    • To support digestive system health and assist body waste elimination

  • St. Mary's Thistle is traditonally used in Western herbal medicine:

  • As a hepatoprotectan to enhance liver health

  • To reduce symptoms of indigestion, including relief of intestinal gas, flatulence, digestive spasms, bloating and feeling of fullness

Allergen Information:

  • No Added: Gluten, soya bean, milk, lactose, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, crustacea, egg, sesame seeds, artificial colours or flavours. Vegan and Vegetarian friendly.

Excipients:

Calcium hydrogen phosphate dihydrate, colloidal anhydrous silica, croscarmellose sodium, hypromellose, magnesium stearate, maltodextrin, microcrystalline cellulose, sodium starch glycollate.

Dosage:

Adults: 1 tablet 3-4 times daily

Warnings:

  • Use cautiously during pregnancy.

  • Contraindicated in cases of gallbladder blockage.

  • In anaemia or when iron supplementation is required, do not take with meals or iron supplements.

  • Do not take simultaneously with immunosuppressive drugs.

  • Caution advised in patients with elevated liver enzymes taking immunosuppressive drugs.

  • Caution in those taking:

    • Metronidazole

    • Ornidazole

    • Methadone

    • Nifedipine

  • Contraindicated in patients taking domperidone.

  • Discontinue 7 days prior to general anaesthesia.
