These 2 ingredient Protein Bread Rolls are gluten free, dairy free, low carb and high in protein.

The perfect replacement for conventional white bread. Makes 2 rolls.

Protein Bread Rolls

Ingredients:

  • 5 egg whites (room temperature)

  • 3 tbsp ground flaxseed or chia seeds

  • Pinch of sea salt

  • Bagel seasoning (optional)

Method:
1. Preheat oven to 180°C fan-forced and line a baking tray
2. Whisk egg whites until stiff peaks form
3. Gently fold in flaxseed or chia and salt until combined
4. Shape into rolls and sprinkle with bagel seasoning
5. Bake 16–18 mins and allow to cool before slicing

I had mine with grass-fed butter, tomato, avocado and lettuce, but you can get creative and add any fillings you like.
